Every Coastal Creations GA piece is individually handcrafted and designed by fused-glass artist Jill Strickland. Because of the time, artistry, and care involved in creating each piece, we do not offer free returns. Please review the following policy before completing your purchase.

Returns of Standard Pieces

We accept eligible returns of standard, non-custom pieces within 14 calendar days of delivery.

To request a return, email coastalcreations.ga@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your name, order number, the item you would like to return, and the reason for the return. Returns must be approved before they are shipped back.

To qualify for a return, the piece must be:

• Unused, unaltered, and undamaged

• In its original condition

• Securely packed in its original packaging whenever possible

• Returned with any accessories or materials originally included

Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Coastal Creations GA does not provide complimentary return labels for undamaged items.

Because our glass artwork is fragile and often one of a kind, all returns should be sent using a trackable and fully insured shipping service. The customer is responsible for the piece until it is safely received by Coastal Creations GA.

Original shipping charges and local delivery fees are nonrefundable. We do not charge a separate restocking fee for an approved return.

Refunds

Once your return is received, we will inspect the piece and notify you whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within five business days. Your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

A refund may be denied if the piece is returned used, altered, damaged, incomplete, or outside the 14-day return window.

 

Items Damaged During Shipping

We carefully package every piece for its journey. If your order arrives broken or damaged, please contact us at coastalcreations.ga@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

• Your name and order number

• Clear photographs of the damaged piece

• Photographs of the exterior shipping box

• Photographs of the interior packaging and packing materials

Please keep the damaged piece and all original packaging until we have reviewed the claim. These materials may be required for a carrier claim.

We will review shipping damage individually and work with you toward a replacement piece whenever possible. Because every piece is handmade, an exact duplicate may not be available. The design, color, and completion time for a replacement will be discussed with the customer. If a replacement is not possible, another appropriate resolution may be offered on a case-by-case basis.

Damage reported after 48 hours or without the requested photographs and packaging may be more difficult to resolve.

 

Custom and Commissioned Pieces

Custom and commissioned artwork is final sale and cannot be returned or refunded because it is created specifically for the customer.

Natural variations in color, shape, pattern, texture, and finish are part of the handmade process and are not considered defects. Custom pieces are still covered if they arrive broken or damaged during shipment, provided the damage is reported within 48 hours as described above.

 

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Custom or commissioned artwork

• Items clearly marked “Final Sale”

• Pieces that have been used, altered, or damaged after delivery

• Items returned without prior approval

• Items returned more than 14 days after delivery

 

Exchanges

We do not offer automatic exchanges. Because many of our pieces are one of a kind or available in limited quantities, replacement availability cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us if you are interested in a different piece, and we will be happy to discuss the available options.
